New in the Neighborhood: Frost Me Cafe and Bakery

I'm all about that Italian lifestyle. The kind of life where you sit in a piazza, people watch, eat cheese, and drink wine. Little Italy's newest addition, Frost Me Cafe and Bakery, allows you to do just that.

I was recently invited to a tasting event in their beautiful space. They're already well known for their one-of-a-kind cupcakes at their original Seaport Village location, Frost Me Gourmet. Their Little Italy location is next level! Fun fact: they were crowned champions in the "Breeder's Cup" episode on Cupcake Wars (season 9).

With gold accent lamps, marble counter tops, and a clever neon sign, the shop is bound to attract a lot of patrons on aesthetics alone. My favorite part is the patio. It's a relaxing area where the world slows down, and you can live your best Italian life.

As for the food, there were beautiful charcuterie boards, smoked trout tartines, strawberry lemon bars, vegan + gluten free lemon blueberry bars, and chocolate cheesecake bites. The beverages included red wine, rosé, cold brew, and nitro matcha. The nitro matcha was new to me, and tasted refreshing on a warm day. Their vegan + gluten free lemon blueberry bars are a must try! The ingredients are simple and the coconut based crust pairs well with the filling. The Little Italy location also serves coffee, pastries, light fare, and of course, cupcakes.

I had a wonderful afternoon of tasting, drinking, and meeting new friends. There will be more visits to Frost Me in my future.
